The Worcester Greensource heat pumps are designed to work effectively in external temperatures as low as -20°C, so it's more than suitable for the comparatively mild winters the UK tends to have.
We can currently offer a choice of two systems: air to air or air to water, both offer significant fuel savings when you compare these with a 'traditional' heating system. Both types of air source heat pumps utilise the free and naturally sustainable latent energy in the air around us and convert this energy into heat, which provides efficient, energy saving, low cost heating and hot water throughout the year, regardless of the weather.
Cashbacks from Worcester Bosch and Government grants are sometimes available depending on the product you are looking to install and providing you meet the criteria where appropriate.
Air to Water Heat Pumps
The Air to Water option we offer utilises the Worcester Greensource air source heat pumps, ranging in output from 6kW to 9.5kW. These air to water heat pumps are designed to be the only source of heating and hot water product required for the home, allowing you the option of removing the existing heat source, which in most cases would be your boiler, from the property. The building is still heated using radiators or an underfloor heating system.
The Greensource air to water heat pumps use the constant energy available in the air with a refrigerant circuit to allow the temperature to be boosted to a useful level for the provision of heating or hot water for the home.
Greensource air source heat pumps also fully comply with Building Regulation G3.

The air to air heat pump is an all-in-one heating and cooling system that is designed to provide year round comfort within your property.
The Greensource air to air heat pump converts the energy from the air outside into heat and then circulates warm air internally to provide a comfortable temperature within your property.
