Home Information Packs - HIPs

The Government have temporarily suspended the HIPs scheme with a view to maybe permanently ending Home Information Packs. 

As Gas Safe registered engineers we will still be required to submit notification of installation of gas appliances, as this is still a legal requirement to meet Building Regulations.  Please be aware though, especially when accepting quotations that may be for a cheaper price than either ourselves or other installers, as we have discovered that not all Gas Safe registered companies actually submit these notifications and therefore this makes you think why not; for the sake of a few pounds for an installer to do it (saving the home owner close to £300), what have they to hide!

Watchdog warns energy bills could soar by 60%

5 year warranty on all Worcester Boilers

As a Worcester Bosch Group Accredited Installer we are delighted to announce that the 5 year warranty which we were previously able to offer only occasionally has been made a permanent offer, but this can only be given by Accredited Installers such as Arrow Heating Solutions.  The boiler's standard warranty offered by non-Accredited Installers will be 2 years.

We're now installing Buderus too!

Arrow Heating Solutions are now fully trained to specify and install Buderus boilers.  Buderus are part of the Worcester Bosch family, and are suitable for the larger domestic property or commercial property.  Quite often we come across large family homes where the option is for two domestic boilers as quite simply there isn't a boiler within the domestic bracket quite 'man' enough for the job, now we have the answer within the Buderus range without compromising on quality and reliability.

UK to reduce Carbon Footprint by Year 2020

A legally binding target of at least an 80% cut in greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, to be achieved through action in the UK and abroad. Also a reduction in emissions of at least 34% by 2020.  Both targets are to be set against 1990 figures.
