Installations

All quotations for installation of boilers, renewable products such as solar, air source etc, radiator installation and full system upgrades are provided free of charge and without any obligation.  Engineers are GAS SAFE (gas), OFTEC (oil) and UNVENTED registered,  knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the industry and are always happy to chat through your own thoughts and concerns.

  • 98% of all gas and oil boilers we install are manufacturered by Worcester Bosch group - the market leaders.
  • As a Worcester Bosch Group Accredited Installer we are able to offer you a first class service not only from ourselves but also from one of the top boiler manufacturers throughout Europe.
  • We found Worcester Bosch to be the best in terms of build quality, reliability, manufacturer support and most importantly what the cost to repair the various brands of boiler were in the event of a breakdown. 
  • As a Worcester Bosch Group Accredited Installer we offer a FREE FIVE YEAR MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY on all installations using Worcester Bosch boilers (two year warranty as standard).
  • Worcester Bosch products are even installed within Her Majesty The Queen's properties, in 2009 Worcester Bosch were awarded a much sought after Royal Warrant.
  • Over the years we have found that boilers that were cheaper to initially purchase and install tended to be the ones which broke down sooner, and of even more concern were more expensive to repair than those boilers that were more expensive to initially install, assuming we could actually readily obtain the parts of the cheaper boilers either from supplier or manufacturer. 
  • Cashbacks from Worcester Bosch and Government grants are sometimes available depending on the product you are looking to install and providing you meet the criteria where appropriate.
  • 75% of our annual turnover is made up of installation, power flush and upgrade work; the remainder being service and repair.

Our installation service begins:

  • With your initial telephone or email contact with ourselves. 
  • An appointment is made by our courteous and helpful office staff.  This appointment can be to suit you Monday to Friday, daytime or early evening.  If it is more convenient to chat over the phone to an experienced engineer fo ideas of cost involved we are more than happy to provide this service too.
  • Our qualified and motivated engineer attends your property and listens to your requirements as a property owner and/or family, we take note of your property's size and configuration, your water and heating usage and the day to day comings and goings of those living at home to ensure the system we design; whether it is just a boiler with controls or a completely new system, with boiler, radiators and maybe even solar is the correct system for you and your needs. 
  • The engineer returns to our office and calculates the final quotation.  We may telephone the price to you if time is of the essence and/or we will always follow up with our full and transparent written quotation clearly indicating the options we would recommend for your property.
  • We can offer a selection of options from a basic 'no frills' boiler through to a more enhanced boiler. 

Within our written quotation:

  • We detail the work we will be undertaking as clearly as possible with the information on the various options we would recommend clearly identifiable.
  • We include information about the warranties we offer free of charge (FIVE years on Worcester Bosch boilers the standard warranty being two years) and also details about any grants which may be available.
  • We outline information regarding the latest legal requirements for Building Regulation notification following the installation of any heat generating appliance (gas and oil).
  • We clearly set out payment terms.
  • We also include a quotation acceptance form, one to keep which includes our full terms and conditions on the reverse, the other to return to our office should you accept our competitive quotation.

The entire quotation package ensures that you know exactly what services and appliances we are looking to provide and clearly sets out this information to ensure you can be confident that we will be carrying out exactly the work you require to enable you to begin achieving the cost saving results following completion.

We aim to give you options and advice...after all the choice is yours...not ours! 

If you're still underdecided or if you've received various quotations and are a little confused then please do not hesitate to contact us, whether you ultimately use Arrow Heating or not we are always happy to offer advice and guidance.

When you accept our quotation:

  • We will schedule a convenient commencement date.
  • The engineer(s) will arrive usually by 9am on the day work commences.
  • Dustsheet out the property as and when necessary.
  • Go through again the work we will be carrying out as specified in our quotation.
  • The engineer(s) will then go about installing your new boiler, cylinder, radiators, solar etc (as applicable) with the minimum of disruption to your household.
  • Our engineers are always courteous and clean, both in their appearance and their work. 
  • We do not allow radios to be played by our engineers, nor do any of our engineers smoke. 
  • Once the work is completed the engineer will go through what has been done and demonstrate the controls for the system.
  • The engineer will leave with the warranty paperwork (Worcester Bosch appliances only) in order that we can register the appliance for the extended warranties that we are eligible to offer and also your payment!

Following completion of your installation:

  • A few weeks after installation you should receive confirmation of your Worcester Bosch extended warranty (if applicable) and also notification from your local authority that the installation has been installed meeting current Building Regulations (again where applicable).
  • You can now begin to enjoy the benefits of your quality installation from Arrow Heating Solutions Ltd!
  • You can continue to experience the high level of service provided by Arrow Heating Solutions for any aspect of your properties heating or renewable energy requirements, not forgetting our after sales service in the unlikely event of any problems or queries relating to the running of your new system.
  • Each year we will contact you to book in the annual service of your appliance.
