If you are looking for other work to be carried out to your existing heating system and not just a boiler replacement we are happy to help with this too.
Additional work which may be needed includes:
Servicing of oil and gas appliances - Not only do we service oil and gas boilers, but we also service warm air units and gas fires too.
Repair and Breakdown - We are able to provide a first class repair service in the event of a breakdown, ongoing intermittent fault or long term fault that you simply haven't got round to sorting. Our engineers being highly trained and with many years of experience and industry knowledge will be able to identify problems and provide quotations to effect repair should they find parts are required.
Radiator Replacement - where we offer a measure up service to provide a radiator of appropriate output and size for the room in question, whether this be just a single radiator or multiple radiator replacement. We can even look to simply replace your old radiators for new higher efficiency radiators or for aesthetic reasons matching to existing pipework as best we are able.
Upgrade of Controls - if your existing programmer, thermostat, diverter valve or any other controls are having a problem then again this is something we can provide a quotation for replacing, quite often we are able to provide a cost over the phone.
Pump (Circulator) - if you are experiencing problems with your pump, it may be sticking, noisy or just simply stopped working we can do this.
Thermostatic Radiator Valves (TRVs) - TRVs enable you to control individual radiator temperature allowing you to keep them at a lower temperature for those rooms that are hardly used. They might simply be leaking, they might be stuck, you might not even have them - whatever the problem we can resolve it for you.
Cylinders and Unvented (mains pressure) hot water cylinders - Has the immersion 'gone'? Is it leaking? Does it seem too small and you keep running out of hot water, does it take forever to fill a bath? Or you may have extended your property and feel that a larger capacity cylinder would be more suitable. Whatever the problem we can fix it!
We can replace with a 'like for like' cylinder, or it might even be just an immersion that needs replacing. Alternatively we could replace your existing hot water cylinder with an unvented hot water cylinder doing away with the water storage tanks within the loft. Unvented cylinders give a mains pressure flow rate from your hot water taps using fresh water rather than stored water (from tanks in loft). Should you be thinking of possibly installing solar hot water panels in the future but are just looking at replacing the cylinder for now, ensure that you advise the engineer as it will be necessary to install a twin coil variety of unvented cylinder compatible with solar.
Tanks - these are usually located within the loft area, sometimes the problem relates to a ball valve other times the tank itself might be leaking, again we can fix these problems.
